E-COMMERCE UX CONTENT DESIGN
FOR THE HEART CLOVERDALE
The Heart Cloverdale is a local retail small business and community hub for entrepreneurs based in Cloverdale, BC.
Originally opened as a community co-working space with a small retail space in the front area, the business pivoted to focus exclusively on retail and e-commerce due to the onset of the global pandemic.
With a solid brick and mortar retail location already established, The Heart Cloverdale needed a new website with a focus on e-commerce that could scale up as their inventory continued to grow both in quantity and product mix.
Work Done:
- Project management
- E-commerce driven UX content design
- E-commerce driven information architecture design
The Heart Cloverdale E-commerce UX Content Design and Information Architecture Design
Because The Heart Cloverdale wasn’t as focused on their retail business before, their website wasn’t optimized for e-commerce and was difficult for their customers to shop.
While the client was already on Shopify, the theme they initially used was not set up to scale with them as their inventory and product mix grew month over month.
Customer Pain Points that were Solved:
- Global menu was difficult to navigate
- Customers couldn’t search for products that they were looking for
- Homepage was difficult to browse
