Venice Beach is a place in LA that I’ve always wanted to check out but never got around to. Blame it on the traffic, the schedule, the fact that I don’t skate or whatever, but I finally got around to it during my fifth visit to Los Angeles last fall.
Venice didn’t disappoint me. I’ve had an admiration for skate culture for a long time (since working for a skate distro back in the day) and have seen so many iconic photos of the Venice Skate Park. So bless that I was able to catch some of my best images to date during golden hour at the bowl.
